Please keep us apprised of your progress and let us know if your theory holds true. I'd be very interested in hearing about it.

Train with purpose,

I noticed myself how good exercise the glose grip bench is for the overhead press. I progressed in my side press (36 kg from 0 reps to 13) and my barbell press barely budged. But when I added this tricep work, I added 15 % to my overhead press in 2 months. It was like I layed a foundation for a whole year, and then brought it all together with horizontal pressing.

By the way, I have a theory that what ever I close grip bench press for 10 reps I can military press. Lets see how well that holds up...
