My name is Phil Scarito. I am a Certified RKC II Instructor and also hold a Functional Movement Certification (FMS).  In addition I have assisted Master RKC Brett Jones, Senior RKC Brad Nelson and Senior RKC Will Williams at the Russian Kettlebell Challanges.  I practice and teach the Hardstyle method of Kettlebell training and represent my favorite city, Philadelphia.  I hold outdoor Kettlebell classes in the suburbs of Philadelphia (Chesterbrook).   My goal is not only to teach my clients correct form but help them understand why they move the way they move. In order to help them Every client is instructed to go through the FMS screen in order to find their assymetries from which we build a solid program design.

When you train with Kettlebells, you train your body as a unit. In my classes we use basic multi-joint movements that work your entire body. I keep it simple yet challenging. DV8Fitness  welcomes all levels of fitness, Kettlebells are for everyone.  Learn how to become stronger and injury free.  It’s not about how much you press or deadlift, it’s about how well you move without restrictions.  Try a class at DV8 Fitness, you will not want to go anywhere else.

My name is Michael Barbato. I am a second level Russian Kettlebell Challenge Instructor. I practice the HARDStyle method of kettlebell training. After receiving my RKC in September’08,RKCII in June’09, I have had the honor to assist in the first RKC Certification on the East Coast.

I represent Philly HARDStyle and teach this method to all of my clients. I grew up in a town called Collingdale in the Philadelphia suburbs, Delaware county. Graduated high school and started a career as an automotive technician. I have always had an interest in weight training. As years passed I became more interested in learning how to change my body. After years of searching I Discovered Russian kettlebells. Russian Kettlebells changed my entire outlook on weight training. I would never weight train the same again.

Learning, performing, conquering. Four years have pasted. Now I put myself through intense training at the RKC (Russian Kettlebell Challenge).  I’m here to pursue something that I am happy doing, participating in the Art of Russian Kettlebells. I want to be the best, I want to share the things I love doing, I want to help others be better, stronger, leaner. Knowledge goes out to my family, friends, and others. I’m here handing out Strength to all who will receive it! Come be one with Precision Kettlebells.

Thank You,
PRECISION IS POWER!

Sandy Sommer, RKC

Born in Washington DC August 24, 1961 at George Washington University Hospital.

Always played sports growing up. Football, basketball and baseball growing up. Switched to lacrosse in HS. Ended up playing football and basketball at Franklin and Marshall College. Football for 4 years and basketball for one.

Went to Free agent camp with the Pittsburgh Steelers as a safety but failed to make the roster. Kept up my training and stayed in good shape. Never had to worry much about gaining weight but lost a lot of flexibility over the years. Did resistance training off and on but really played mostly basketball, golf and tennis as an adult.

Introduced to kettlebells in November 2007 and started using regular weights again this past year when I met Marty Gallagher. Looking to regain lost strength and power and learn how to teach my clients to train with more purpose and better results.

Sandor Sommer RKC is currently available to teach in the Baltimore Metro area. He can be reached at 410-967-1882 or sandysommer@charmcitykettlebells.com
